THE TURQUOISE TABLE

The Turquoise Table is a National movement started by author Kristin Schell with the purpose of building community and connection in your front yard! To participate, you simply paint a picnic table turquoise, place it in your front yard and allow this to be a gathering spot for friends and neighbors to live life together. It is a "front yard people movement." Ever since I heard about this in 2018, my heart was stirred about the importance of slowing down long enough to really get to know the people in your community, and soon after I took the plunge with my own picnic table in my front yard . Since then, I've partnered with a local organization Westborough Connects to help spread the message of the Turquoise Table, and as a result, we've seen these tables spread throughout Westborough.
